The Cornea Web Academy (CWA) offers the possibility to enter the surgical theatre of prof. Massimo Busin and connect directly with his microscope by means of a high-speed HD video streaming connection. In every session all surgical interventions are performed and discussed live. The broadcasting is addressed both to junior surgeons seeking to familiarize with lamellar keratoplasty and to more experienced colleagues, who can discuss live all aspects of this exciting field of ophthalmic surgery. It is possible for you to ask questions and receive explanations in real time directly from the surgeon (interactive participation), or simply observe and listen to the discussion (view-only participation). Each session has a theme (i.e. DALK, DMEK, UT-DSAEK, DSAEK in PK, DALK in PK,etc.) and at least 2 procedures are performed and discussed. The site also offers the possibility of booking and customizing a session according to your requirements: you can choose among open dates, times and procedure types from the menu in the " Customize" section and build up your ideal session.
